I was admitted Sunday with Pneumonia. I also suffer other chronic conditions including six compression fractures, and both of my hips have been replaced. I am receiving a lot of medications which are scheduled at various times of the day. Melissa has been remarkably punctual with my medications. And, I'm sure her other patients require at least my level of care. Melissa also has done some of CA's work such as taking my blood sugar so I could eat my lunch that had been delivered.
Melissa has been compassionate in helping me schedule my pain medications, and she was always here when she said she would be here for the pain medications. With the proper pain management, I have felt well enough to walk the halls which has helped clear up my lungs.
She has gone the extra mile in taking care of me. She has helped her co-workers, and I believe she exemplifies all the good qualities of nursing.
