Our team is truly blessed to have Laura Dornoff as a co-worker and our current full time visit nurse. Laura is a true team player always ready to help out where she is needed. This year we had several 4 day weeks. Laura stepped up and did 6 visits a day to help our team get our visits done.
Laura is an excellent clinician. She recently covered me while I was on vacation and I had a challenging patient who was unable to swallow anything. Laura worked with ECF staff, physician, and continuous care team to develop a plan which allowed us to get the patient comfortable.
I am proud to nominate Laura she is truly an excellent example of what a hospice nurse is.
