From the moment Aimee came in the room I knew we would have a good evening. Aimee introduced herself, explained my father's condition and the plan of care for the evening. She exercised great care and compassion, ensured our family's comfort and my father's. My father has stage 4 cancer. She became part of our family and embraced us like part of hers. She kept my father comfortable - which is so important at this phase of his illness. She dropped everything, even her dinner and ice cream when we needed her. She even recognized when all my mother needed was a hug to be able to leave my father and go home to get some rest. Without Aimee, I'm not sure we would have been able to leave that evening. She deserves a whole bouquet of daisies and a dozen rolls.
