My daughter was a patient in early October. Out of all the nurses and physicians my daughter encountered, Kurney Witham stood out and shined above the rest. Kurney displayed the utmost level of professionalism and compassion of any nurse. She truly embodied the concept of patient-centered care versus goal centered care. She was compassionate not only towards my daughter but also towards my newly born granddaughter. She took the time to explain things to my daughter and treated her with respect and dignity. My daughter had a very challenging pregnancy towards the end and the baby had to wait three days to come home. Kurney always made her feel welcome to come to see the baby in the nursery and never hesitated to answer any questions she had. I cannot thank Kurney enough for everything she did for my daughter.
