My mother was scheduled for knee replacement surgery. Tom came out to take my mother back to presurgery area to start her IV and have her meet the anesthesiologist, but he said he would be back in about 15 minutes. He was back in under 10 minutes and took us back to stay with mom until her surgery. Not only did he treat my mom with immense respect and kindness, he answered all of our questions, was very reassuring, kept checking on all of us(not just my mom)and kept us abreast of the situation. He always put my mother first and his skills and kindness showed through all of his actions and words.
