Our dad and family truly appreciate the kindness and caring shown to him by Ric Sinden. He took extra time to explain the plan of care to our dad and to make sure family was updated on tests, medications, and procedures. His nursing skills are excellent, and he made suggestions to the doctors to improve dad's symptoms. My dad received an extra dose of Lasix and steroids to help his heart failure and shortness of breath because of Ric's thorough assessment. We appreciate him taking time to make a personal connection with our dad, whether talking baseball, food or places he traveled. You can tell he really cares about his patients.
Ric also contacted the doctor to get the lab draws coordinated to decrease the times my dad had to be poked. He always worked well with his team members - you could tell they respected him, and he valued their assistance, from the docs to the housekeepers. He made sure the patients were taken care of first. I saw him a few times in the cafeteria for lunch after 1PM. We feel very fortunate to have had Ric as our dad's nurse. He is a true asset to your facility and exemplifies the 'DAISY' attitude.
