From her patient:
I had 5 days as a patient on MS 2-North. Eva was my RN on day 5. She immediately introduced herself, but her goal was to keep me safe, comfortable, and to work with me. Even though I was going to be discharged 8:30 pm that evening, she left no stone unturned. She reconciled my meds, followed up with my surgeon when my H&H results were in (she also told me the results as I too, am an RN) and she always made me feel like I was her only patient. She exemplifies nursing. She is dedicated, experienced, professional, compassionate, a leader, and never stopped going full speed or complained about anything. She is what makes nursing a professional practice and her evidence-based practice shows in her critical thinking skills!
From another patient:
Eva is and was an awesome advocate/nurse/angel for me. She said she'd only been here for 3 months. I believe if you are lucky in your life to cross paths with a "real angel" you are truly blessed. Well I am! I can honestly say she is and was my gift from God. Her bedside manner, laughter, caring personality makes up one fine and perfect package. Eva Perez, you are my angel and gift from God.
From Eva's Nurse Manager:
Eva is a newly hired RN in the Ortho Med Surg Unit. She adapted quickly in the unit building good working relationship with her co-workers. She is always smiling and has a positive attitude. She had received numerous core value cards from patients appreciative of the great care they received from her. She provides compassionate care to the patients and she's a team player. She is also hard working and dedicated. We are proud to have Eva in our Ortho Med Surg team.
