Ashlee is a kind soul with a gentle presence. I was told I had a terminal illness. Most people do not realize the effect it has on a mind, heart and above all your emotional prospect on it all. It's not all about medicine. Ashlee appeared to be caring, patient and an outstanding listener. I firmly know without a doubt she was put in my life by God in a nurse form. I picture her as my angel.
She was patient, empathetic and just her eyes told me how special I am and my work is not completed. I was released from the hospital and actually hugged her. I think about my many hospital stays and this stay was the best ever. She is quiet and kind, shy but her smile and soft word gave me such a willingness to live.
I am so relaxed today and still feel a sense of belonging. I owe so much to her. She is so deserving of this award. I ask you to please honor her because she deserves every bit of it and more. Thank-you so much!!!
