From the moment I met Audrey she made me feel like an actual person. She didn't just brush me off like the rest of the world, she didn't brand me as an addict or a druggie. I could tell to her, I was a person who just made a mistake on more than a few occasions. She helped me get through my cravings and urges to just leave by helping me distract myself, by talking to me about our favorite show 'Game of Thrones'.
On one occasion she even took my only set of clothes to her place to wash them, I can honestly say as an addict, no one else would have done that for me. She didn't treat me like I had some sort of infectious disease that would rub off onto my belongings. Audrey is one of a few RNs who has been truly nice to me without any reservations because that's just her nature. She's kind to everyone even when no one is looking or deserves it.
