Dan is a wonderful member of the West 10 staff. He always has a positive attitude, and remains calm and collected when presented with the most difficult situations. Patients frequently request to have Dan as their nurse, and families often pass along what a terrific job he did while caring for their child. Families have said Dan is calm and reliable, did everything they asked no matter how crazy it seemed, and cared for their child like they were one of his own.

Dan is a great team player and is recognized by other coworkers as someone who is always willing to help out, even when he is busy. He is able to provide excellent care to patients and families while balancing a busy assignment and multiple admissions and discharges.

Dan is a reliable preceptor not only for students but for newly hired nurses. He is able to effectively teach about our patient population while helping develop critical thinking skills and time management. He does an excellent job while precepting because he is patient and thorough and makes sure everything is understood completely. He remains a resource to new nurses and is always available to answer questions and help out when needed.
