The care and understanding exhibited by Suzete was admirable. I watched Suzete around my mother, she was always very kind and displayed compassion. I noticed her on several occasions stoop down to speak with my mother, placing them both on the same level. In my mother's eyes, she was an angel.
My mother became very confused while in the hospital, but that Suzete took the time to explain that this was a normal process for the elderly while in the hospital. Suzete also made sure to keep the family well informed. She took the time to listen to my mother, asking her about knitting and her family, and even discussed favorite candy bars.
The final act of random kindness displayed by Suzete, just before mom got in the wheelchair to leave, Suzete handed her a Snickers bar - my mother's favorite!
