Christy Vogt is a nurse that is most often mentioned in patient discharge call comments as well as from comments from the nurse leadership rounds. It was during one of these rounds that a patient so well summarized why Christy is deserving of this award.

Mrs. G. stated "I want to make sure that your nurse Christy gets special recognition. You have a lot of excellent staff here but Christy stands out. When I think of what a perfect nurse is, I think of her. She has a great personality that makes me feel welcomed and cared for. She's on time and keeps me informed about what's going on. I feel when I have a problem, she really listens and acts on it. As much as I don't like having to be in the hospital, Christy makes it bearable and, at times, even enjoyable."
