My family and I appreciate the extra care and time Dani took to stay with my father during his final moments.
My father was in the ICU and Dani stayed with him, even though her shift had ended earlier, and comforted him when his oxygen dropped and could not be resuscitated. My father had been sick for so long and I know that there was nothing else that could have been done. For me, the best way to describe how I feel is "relief wrapped in sorrow". We are all sad that he is gone but relieved that he is not struggling anymore.
Again, thank you so much for taking the extra time to be with him and I am so glad he felt compassion and comfort in his final moments.
