...Froilan has demonstrated superior nursing abilities on many different occasions. Recently he did not disappoint his reputation as he was unexpectedly called upon while at lunch. Froilan's ability to recognize the needs of a neighboring individual at the lunch table coupled with his quick response made the difference in this individual's life.

Froilan demonstrated several excellent nursing qualities on this day. His leadership to take control of the situation, his calming nature to make a hectic scene seem less chaotic, and his compassion for the individual and individual's family members that were present are a few that come to mind when I look back upon that day. Froilan was able to assess and recognize the situation. He performed the Heimlich maneuver on this individual and when the situation worsened, he promptly started to perform CPR.

On a more personal note, while I have only known Froilan for approximately 2 years, it didn't take long for me to become impressed with his high level of motivation and passion for his job as a Cardiovascular Nurse on and off the clock. Froilan is a stand-out among his peers for both his knowledge base and his compassion towards not only his patients, but also his family and friends.
