My mother was hospitalized at Emanuel for over a week and we had the pleasure of getting to experience and witness Brenda's amazing nursing skills. Brenda is an exceptional nurse and emulates the professional practice of nursing. Not only did she demonstrate sincerity and kindness towards my mother, but she also went to great lengths to advocate for her. As a patient and as a family member there is an immense sense of vulnerability, but when she was in the care of Brenda, we all felt well taken care of, advocated for and safe. I cannot thank her enough. There were numerous times she went extra lengths to educate my mom on her potential condition or the tests she was going to get or the times she made sure my mom was seen as a human and not just a patient. Brenda treated her with respect and helped her build her confidence towards the road to recovery. Thank you so much Brenda, for everything!
