Sheryl is very knowledgeable and always willing and able to answer questions or find an answer. She is caring and compassionate not only with patients, but the staff as well. Sheryl is not only a leader and co-worker, but a friend who will listen to concerns or troubles, celebrate joys and victories with you. Her care of patients is always, always compassionate and patient.
***
She is someone I would choose to take care of my ailing parents or my 1-year-old grandbaby. She is always professional in her interactions with staff, patients, and family. She meets the day smiling, making everyone feel better about the day! When it comes to being a team player, I haven't worked with anyone better. She comes in early to help when it is busy, stays late if needed and picks up extra time to cover sick calls without any notice and always with a smile. Her compassion has helped many patients, family members, and staff through crises with just the right amount of empathy to provide that feeling of comfort we all need. She is truly an example that new nurses can look up too. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
***
Sheryl is trustworthy, I would let her take care of me, my husband and even my child. She is a mentor, always teaching the students, the new nurses, the old nurses, the administration and the doctors alike all learn from Sheryl. Sheryl is caring, she called in at 6:30 in the morning just to "check-in" with the night shift. Sheryl is cheerful, she greets everyone with a smile every time I see her no matter what is happening in the department or the hospital.
***
Sheryl is always taking care of her team and goes above and beyond to help out. Sheryl has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is always willing to share and teach. She is always focused, calm, and professional. She does a great job of representing our department and the hospital.
