I have been a patient at Ward 7 unit for 5 different admissions over the years. Nurse Joanna has been my nurse several times. Joanna has set an example of excellence and integrity both with patients, her fellow staff members and also family members. Joanna is very trustworthy and I felt confident with her as my nurse. She is extremely professional in her dealings with me and the other patients. When I came to Ward 7 I was suffering from severe anxiety, PTSD and depression. Joanna gave me tools both physical and psychological training to aid me in overcoming these. She is both proficient and competent in her nursing skill, as well as compassionate. She treated myself and all the other veteran inpatients with the highest dignity and respect. Joanna exemplifies what it means to be an excellent veteran nurse.

A+ on all the ICARE Values! What can I say except that she is the most caring individual I have had the honor of meeting and being cared for by!! This lady is on top of things like a well-oiled machine. I have never seen a person so in touch with the beat of this unit. She's simply great!

I feel that Joanna has gone above and beyond her normal duties to make sure we had clean linen. She even volunteered to take our washed clothes to the dryer downstairs since the dryer on our floor doesn't work. She is the best.
