I have a traumatic brain injury and before switching my care to Billings Clinic I was unhappy with my previous care. I was almost ready to give up on finding care anywhere, but I tried this office in my final attempt. Kathy has been like an angel to me. She responds to every question, call, or email quickly and goes out of her way to find answers. Kathy is upbeat and sweet in every interaction. She has restored my faith in medical care and humanity. At one visit I had an incredibly painful concussion headache and had to wear sunglasses to try to block out the light because any light what so ever hurt my eyes. I spend most of my time when not at appointments or running errands in my dark bedroom with the curtains drawn. She went to get some paperwork for me and I had my head down on the desk when she came back. She knew I had another appointment in the same building in 2 hours and asked if I would like to just lay down on the exam table with the lights off until then. I nodded, very grateful and rested until my next appointment. I hugged her and thanked her for being so kind and thoughtful, for noticing and treating me like a human with feelings. It meant so much to me. Since then she continued to be amazingly kind and patient enough to explain things to me and repeat if I needed her to without even a hint of annoyance. Kathy is light in the dark.
