A patient's mom wrote, "Joia is very kind, compassionate, observant and an advocate for patients. She is persistent in seeing that my son's pain was relieved and called the doctor at the family's request. She patiently explained and answered our questions." The patient's brother also nominated Bush, writing, "Joia did an excellent job of taking care of my brother and an exceptional job of listening and explaining everything, and answering my questions. She's an outstanding nurse!"
