Lindy is an excellent, caring and smart nurse with many years of service. Lindy works on the acute unit dealing with a variety of Veterans who are in need of our help and care. Lindy treats everyone with respect and dignity. He cares for our Veterans with great compassion. He truly cares about each of them and makes it a point to connect with each of them as a nurse, a friend, and an advocate. I have on many occasions witnessed him caring for our patients and truly providing the best nursing care possible. Not only is Lindy an experienced RN but he is an amazing coworker who goes above and beyond to help out fellow staff in any way possible.
As an MSA, I trust that when I ask for assistance when speaking with a patient on the unit that Lindy will help out, address any concerns I have and provide guidance.
Lindy works well with patients, families, and caregivers. He goes above and beyond to provide resources and tools to help assist the Veteran. Due to the stigma attached to mental illness, Lindy helps to comfort and maintain an understanding with families. When speaking with the caregivers or families you can truly tell they trust him.
