Hattie provided top-notch care for the 2 days my father spent in the ICU. Her excellent care was exhibited many times during his stay attending to his every need. Once I requested hospice, Hattie attended the Palliative Care meeting with me, which was very kind, but maybe one of the hardest things she may ever have to do, she never swayed in her support. She also made sure that I got a room to stay in then convinced me to go rest.
The second day Hattie knew that I was taking Dad to my home to care for him along with Hospice. She could tell I was nervous about what to do. Hattie sat down with me and handwrote out everything I needed to know and what to watch for. She gave me the strength and courage that I could care for my dad. Hattie was my "Angel"; thanks so much.
