Laura has floated to 3C numerous times and had recently taken on a permanent float position to 3C. She consistently demonstrates a team work attitude and is always in a good mood. She brings an exceptional amount of nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills to our unit. She is well received by her patients/families/co-workers. Laura is always willing to help other nurses; this is a great quality for a float RN to possess, but it is sometimes hit or miss because they aren't familiar with all staff. On this particular day Laura saw that our CA was having a difficult time breaking from our two sitter cases, so she volunteered to go sit in her patient room while the sitter went on break. Laura consistently demonstrates initiative, as well as supporting her team. Thanks for floating!!
