During our stay on the Progressive heart unit, we were fortunate enough to have Shaine as our nurse. On the first day, she wasn't assigned to us but went out of her way to check on my dad. We immediately recognized her compassion, diligence and high standard of professionalism.
We were so taken by our first impression of her that we requested her the next day.
Over the course of the next three days, she constantly exceeded our expectations and made our stay actually enjoyable.
My dad's recovery included a 24-hour stent of uncontrolled a-fib, which of course made us nervous, yet Shaine handled it flawlessly. She educated us with her excellent communication skills, coordinated care with her exceptional interpersonal skills and was so kind and calm during the whole stay. She brought a sense of calm to our family and we knew she had my dad's best interest at heart.
Shaine will be successful no matter what she does. The patients at this hospital benefit from her care. Staff on the unit also spoke so highly of her and I know she makes their days brighter as well.
