My wife is in the hospital with Stage 4 metastatic cervical cancer. It now has spread to the bladder, liver, and both lungs. She is in severe pain and is very afraid of the medication. Katia went above and beyond to sit with her and help her understand the why and the importance for them. The kindness and compassion when my wife is in pain and feeling bad is not learned in any textbook, it is born with you. The bond my wife feels with Katia is like no other, I guess you can say it's angelic. The connection between the two is real and genuine. She has made such a positive impact on our lives that I feel at home and at peace with the high level of care. She is and always will be in our hearts.
