Alex is a hardworking, dedicated nurse. He is caring, he takes the time to speak to patients and help nurses on the unit. He is constantly doing things whether it is admitting patients, medicating, or discharging patients. He helps meet the needs of the unit by interchangeably being a swing shift or staff nurse without hesitation. Alex is proactive and takes initiative. He provides patient care without being asked. He has all finger sticks done in the morning for the oncoming nurses. He is always the first to respond to a call bell. Patients are always acknowledging his kindness. Something that nurses and PAs can agree on is Alex is thorough in the care he provides. He goes above and way beyond what is expected of his role. HSS is lucky to have him. He deserves recognition for the work he provides.
