I was admitted to the Waynesboro Hospital. When I arrived, I was greeted by staff who were kind and courteous. While I was being assessed in the ER, I had the great pleasure of meeting RN Tracey. Tracey treated me and my family with the upmost respect and dignity. As the evening progressed, Tracey continued making sure I was comfortable, and my family was informed of what was going on with my treatment plan. During the evening, Tracey made sure I was comfortable by bringing me light refreshments and a warm blanket. Although small things, they displayed Tracey's compassion for her patient.
Tracey displayed patient care with a little gesture of making sure my gown was tied before I went to use the restroom. When it came time for me to be moved to my room, Tracey was the nurse pushing my gurney. She talked and interacted with my wife and daughter during the transport. Tracey made sure I was comfortable before she left me at my room where I was greeted by two great nurses.
