I would like to acknowledge one of your nurses. Nurse Patricia Williams was not only my mother's nurse, but she was also my mother's friend and family member, at least that's how she made me and my mother feel. She is the most caring individual that I and my mother have come across in a very long time. My mother has been hospitalized many times because of her chronic illness and I have to say we have never come across a nurse with so much compassion and love for the job as Patricia has. My mother never had to use her call light to call Patricia. She was always here checking on my mother, making sure she was comfortable and that she was never in pain. She even checked on me constantly to make sure I was comfortable, and I wasn't the patient. She has taken care of my mother for several days or at least every time she worked. She has been Godsend. I wish I could take her home with me. She took her time to listen to my mother vent. She never let my mother get in pain and was always there to assist us. She never rushed away. She gave us her undivided attention despite her having other patients to see. I would like to give Patricia recognition for being such a wonderful caring and supportive nurse. We will remember her always.
