My nurse was beyond caring. She took excellent care of me. She was always there to help me out. My mom agrees that my nurse was like an angel during my stay at Franciscan. When it came time for my discharge my nurse went over everything very well with us. She gave us our papers and we left. When I got home, I slept the rest of the day away and night because I was in a lot of pain and even had a fever. My mom called my nurse back and told her what was going on. I can't remember the whole story, but I had left one of my prescriptions at the hospital, which I really needed for pain. We live a half-hour from the hospital, and I was in no shape to come back and get it. My nurse was very worried and concerned about me. She knew I needed this medicine. My mom gave her permission to take the prescription so she could meet my mom after work. They were going to meet halfway, which my mom was so relieved that she would do this for us. My mom didn't want to leave my side because of my pain and fever. Later when they were supposed to meet, my mom was too tired to drive, (she didn't sleep well in the hospital with me), so she called the nurse back and left a message telling her our pharmacy location. The next morning CVS called and told me my prescription was ready for pickup. Nurse Yichao Wang went beyond just nursing care for me, which my mom and I totally appreciate so much. She truly is an angel in our eyes.

Yichao Wang is an Extraordinary Nurse. She went beyond the care of nursing and helped not only my daughter but for me as well. I asked her for help with my daughter's prescription and she did it. She was worried at first about doing it because she didn't want to get in trouble, but she also knew my daughter needed it. Yichao is so caring, she also called and checked on my daughter. I feel that Yichao Wang is like an angel, she was there not only to help my daughter, but she went beyond to help me too. Franciscan should be proud to have such a caring nurse.
