I woke up to Darrel in Surgery. After speaking with him, I found out he and I used to live in the same part of New York and probably around the same time. Who wakes up from surgery and immediately finds themselves in a meaningful conversation with their nurse? He took my mind off my pain and got my heart beating over the place that means a lot to me. We had so much in common. He was so darn kind to me. He was attentive and didn't leave my side. Where on earth did you find this person?
