Valerie is dedicated to excellence and is the current Chair of the Collaborative Care Council. Under Valerie's direction, the Collaborative Care Council team poster was awarded First Place at the AHA 2019 Conference for their interdisciplinary work on "Early Patient Mobilization." Valerie is the unit champion for the "ABCDEF Bundle Project" and is involved in other council and project work.
Valerie was honored with the DAISY Award for the special connection she had established with patients, families, and staff, and for her endless compassion.
