My wife has had to be here twice due to stage 4 cancer. Each time we have the great luck of getting Maria. The last time ICU gave her Fentanyl which made her mean and very hard to deal with. When she left ICU, they put a patch on her which made it even worse. Maria was the only one in the hospital that was able to calm her down. She showed so much care and love to her until Maria was the only person she wanted to see. If all of the nurses were as good as her the world would be a much better place; there are really no words to say how great a person and nurse she is. In the time my wife has been here Maria was her rock. We have never met a nurse as great as her.

Maria has been my nurse since I was admitted. She is dedicated, caring and incredibly compassionate. In fact, all of the nurses on this floor were fantastic. But Maria shined above them all! I had a crisis situation and she stayed with me for hours, saving my life! Her dedication was and is incredible! As a brand-new diabetic, she made sure I got educated and had all the literature to take home. Maria is always smiling and truly made a very terrible time in my life less stressful and I credit her exceptional clinical skill for getting me better! Thanks, Maria.

All of the above, we were treated like family.
