Mary Christie was my nurse in late 2019, and she helped deliver my son right before her shift ended at 10:08 pm. Mary provided excellent, compassionate care. My husband and I were very excited and nervous about the delivery experience, and Mary always explained everything that was being done and monitored, which helped alleviate all of our anxiety. I felt very scared and vulnerable, especially because this was my first baby, but Mary made me feel calm and comfortable. At the end of the day, after about 17 hours of labor, Mary's encouragement helped me persevere and successfully deliver my baby. Mary's excellent caring nature, competence, encouragement, and compassion made my delivery at St. Joseph's a very pleasant experience. Mary is the best!
