Mr. G had been in CCU since Tuesday, and in critical condition. His physician tried to do surgery on Mr. G Saturday, but he was in such bad condition that they could not. He told the family they would keep Mr. G comfortable and the family could stay with him until the end.

Will was the RN in CCU that was Mr. G’s nurse. I just wanted to let you know that Will was WONDERFUL the entire evening, I’m sure he missed his meal time and break time, because he was constantly helping the family, answering difficult questions, showing compassion and concern, assisting as needed, etc.

Mr. G passed away around 11 pm Saturday night, but Will helped so much in making this time for the family much easier than it could have been. I just thought you should be aware of this. I did not wear my name badge, and he did not know I was an employee of Memorial. He showed care and concern because it was in his heart to do so-you could tell. Will definitely showed our core values.
