We honor the members of The First Responder Team with The DAISY Team Award.
These dedicated health care professionals worked tirelessly on April 15, 2013 to provide care, compassion and comfort to those who were injured during the Boston Marathon bombings and offered support to their family members. They did not stop to consider the possibility of another attack. Their only thought was to help those who were in need.
The members of The First Responder Team exemplify the Mission and Values of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. They are spectacular role models for their colleagues. We are extremely proud of their contribution during this tragic event and for the work they do every day to provide exemplary and compassionate care to our patients and their families.
