Sarah was my primary care nurse and managed my needs efficiently and professionally. She delivered my medications and insulin in a timely manner as she managed multiple patient and family requests. She always referred to the right physician or health care professional for my needs and obtained team members to help her with various duties. On discharge day she discussed with the physician my specific requests and personally reviewed my medication list going to the rehabilitation facility. In addition, she called the facility twice that evening to clarify my medications because there were problems on a previous transfer. Her calls hours after I was transferred were beyond the call of duty. Sarah exceeded our expectations in all areas. It was an honor to have her as my nurse.

Sarah has an amazing attitude. Her willingness to help others on her team adds to her value as an employee. Keep up the good work, Sarah!

Sarah is very kind and loving. I hope she never has health problems like me. I hope her life is nice and long and smooth. She brought a lot of light into my life. Even when I was feeling down and out of it, she made my day better.
...
Sarah went above and beyond her nursing duties. She took appropriate action when she was uncomfortable with her patient's condition. When caring for my mother, she frequently checked, encouraged and showed her compassion and understanding. We never felt she was too busy to take the time with my mom and our family. Hugs to Sarah. We want her to know she is a very special person!

Sarah is an amazing nurse! After a recent bad experience, Sarah has renewed my faith in healthcare. She goes above and beyond for her patients and their families. We appreciated that she always kept us informed. I cannot relate how great she really is to her patients. They would have to have the experience themselves! I would never be concerned leaving a family member in her care. Thank you, Sarah!

I came to Miami Valley Hospital for a laminectomy and spinal decompression. I was home for a few hours and returned to MVH and admitted to the ICU for two days with three blood clots. Then I was transferred to the Pulmonary Unit and met Sarah. She is one of the most caring, compassionate persons I have ever met.
Sarah worked on Easter Sunday which was one of my worst days. She was such a blessing and helped me through several obstacles that I faced during my stay. I felt that even though we had never met, Sarah cared for me as she would have cared for her own mother. Without Sarah's love and care, I'm not sure I would be doing as well as I am today. She is a wonderful, wonderful nurse. I was so blessed to have her for my nurse!
I will never forget Sarah.
