Mary Pennington, RN, IMCU received three nominations by family members of two patients.

An excerpt from her first nomination states: "She took a bad situation and worked hard to achieve a positive outcome. She worked hard that day, but still was smiling and communicating with our family throughout the whole day."

Her second nomination states: "Mary was a very compassionate and knowledgeable nurse. She was very kind to my father the entire day. She took the time to talk and explain his care and treatment to me and my mother."

Her third nomination states: "Mary worked tirelessly to help my son with a blocked bowel. She cleaned the bed area over and over and at all times maintained a professional and compassionate demeanor. She is to be commended, words cannot describe my gratitude."
