Cynthia is a wonderful nurse! She goes over and beyond every day to make sure that each one of her patients receive the best care possible and that each one of the doctors receive the best service possible. Cynthia stays late, often, to make sure those cases in her specialty have the correct supplies and equipment. She is always calling the doctor's offices, verifying procedures making sure that whatever is needed for their cases, we will have and will be ready. Cynthia is always making sure that all of the doctor's preference cards in her specialties are up to date and extremely detailed. She loves details! She makes it easy for someone else to do a case, even if they aren't familiar with the procedure or doctor, because the preference cards are perfect!!! Cynthia deserves to be recognized every day because of everything that she does, the huge heart that she has, and the caring, loving nurse that she is!!!

I want to recognize her for coming in to work on Saturday, on her day off. Saturday morning. Dr. G added on a free flap- 3 hour case and he called to ask her if she could help and make sure everything was there. Most people have busy weekends and would find it very difficult to change plans, especially at the last minute. But Cynthia said, " Of course. I would be happy to". She came in for several hours, pulled everything that was needed for the case, pulled extra things, just in case they were needed, set the entire room up, opened everything, helped with positioning, prepping, counting, etc All the while, her attitude was wonderful, always is!!!! She made sure that I was fine and that I had everything that was needed before she left. I told her numerous times how much I appreciated her coming in. Cynthia is an outstanding nurse and more than deserves this beautiful award.
