Nurses make or break each day you stay in the hospital. Spending the night by yourself with your baby is not easy, but Amber Stack made our nights here as easy as they could be. She was always warm, and truly cared about my baby and about me. She was always clear and informative and I trusted her.

Amber went above and beyond her required tasks to ensure that we felt as comfortable as possible. She trouble-shooted with a broken machine, for example, until she had resolved the issue. Others had simply left it broken and didn't stop the irritating beeping. She did not stop until the problem was totally fixed. When I needed sleep most, she helped watch my baby and assured me that I wasn't being a bad mom. You would never know it was the middle of the night. She always stayed positive, energetic and attentive. I felt safe with her watching out for us and I will always feel grateful for her, truly an unsung hero!
