In my family's eyes, Jennifer has exhibited all 9 characteristics of the DAISY Award. She has made sure that not only is my Meme comfortable and happy, but my Granddaddy as well. She treats them like family. Jennifer has listened to all my Meme's stories and knew who I was before I even walked in the room. One night Jennifer spent the majority of the night in my Meme's room rubbing her arms and talking to her calmly to get her to calm down and relax. On another night, my Granddaddy became ill and Jennifer started CPR and worked very hard on my Granddaddy to bring him back. My Granddaddy was taken elsewhere to be cared for, but Jennifer stayed with my Meme through the night; knowing how important it was to our family that she not be left alone.
