Cindy is one awesome nurse in CVICU. She is a very caring, compassionate nurse. You can tell she loves her job. She was very helpful with us during our visit to ICU. My husband had a quadruple bypass heart surgery. He has never had to have anyting done before, and she helpd him ease through it all explaining why to take meds and how important they were. He was very stubborn, but once Cindy talked to him she gave him confidence. --K.D. (family of patient)

Cindy would come in and check on him even when he wasn't her patient. This means a lot to our family to be in such a caring environment, even when he was moved to stepdown floor she stopped by to see if we had any other questions before he went home on her own time after work and to tell us if we had problems to call CVICU, and they would help us. She did this after she was off work on her own time! Very impressive to us! Special thanks to Cindy, Dr. C., Dr. A.--they saved my husband's life and I'm so grateful!--S.D. (family of patient)

Very concerned with our mother's comfort and well being. Cindy was very compassionate and would get very close range when speaking with her. Cindy was extremely reassuring during the day before surgery. Cindy's smile was also so caring and compassionate. Cindy was frequently holding our mother's hand, and Cindy's gentle touch was so calming. Cindy really did take away our mother's fears regarding her surgery. (family of G.W.)
