Barbara has shown extreme compassion for my husband who is in the ABC program. We had Barbara in cycle one for 3 days. Cycle 1 was entering the unknown for my husband and me. We were afraid of the side effects he may have and Barbara explained every step of the process for us in detail. She answered all of our questions and concerns and explained what he should eat - (ie: heavy breakfast, medium/light lunch and very light dinner on his first day until we saw how he was doing. She explained every medication in detail and told us about how long the side effects of chemo would come on and last. He had shakes, fever of 103.4 flushing, nausea and aches and Barbara was there for every new symptom that developed with her caring, gentle manor and brought medication to deal with every side effect. Barbara made us feel that the whole process of Bio-Chemo was understood and calmed all of our fears. She is a wonderful understanding, patient RN who provided excellent care for my husband and me through this difficult time in our lives. She is an angel on earth that touched our lives.
