Today was only my 3rd medical procedure where I have had to be put under anesthesia (it was the 50-year-old baseline colonoscopy) and Shawn had a very full plate because several other patients arrived in that same hallway with me. She found time to keep me comfortable and warm for almost 2 hours until I was taken back. I was very impressed at how she put the large needle in my hand. She took so much care I didn't even mind and I don't care much for getting stuck because several others have left me badly bruised. It was important to me to be taken care of the way she did. I wanted to take time today to recognize her.
