One evening I took my wife to the Ontario ER. She was quickly taken in for treatment. While receiving treatment her condition quickly worsened. Nurse Autumn noticed that her heart went into an irregular heartbeat and Autumn was quick to change the course of her treatment. Autumn was outstanding in the care of my wife. Autumn heard us mention that we had missed dinner that evening and she offered me some food and drink. Later that evening Autumn asked if I needed to make arrangements with my place of employment, which I had totally forgotten. Autumn was like an angel who had come to care for my wife and probably saved her from having a stroke or maybe worse. My wife was admitted to the ICU. Autumn helped with the transfer of my wife and gave them more information than I could have imagined. Autumn explained every medication that my wife received and everything that they were doing throughout the evening. I am sure this is a natural thing for Autumn with all of her patients, but she is an exceptional person and has great compassion for what she is doing and for her patients. I think Autumn is an incredible asset to your hospital and your business. We will always remember the care and compassion that she showed me and my wife on that ER visit. I would certainly believe that the Barnes family would love to hear about a nurse as special as Autumn. Autumn was like an angel who came to look over my wife that night. She is a shining star whom we will always remember.
