This is the thing about Lenita Keane, it's not just about a certain situation, it's every shift that she demonstrates how good of a nurse she is. Lenita goes above and beyond every single shift with every single patient/client. She has brought in clothes from her home to give to a client that not have any. She helps them to find coupons to be able to afford their medications prescribed upon discharge. I love listening to Lenita while she is teaching to a client/patient. She's knowledgeable, caring, funny, and makes everyone feel at ease. Lenita does not waste time, she is always so hard working. Just working with her makes me smile the whole shift.
Lenita pays attention to tasks needing to be done and encourages peers with her attitude of positivity and timeliness. Lenita offers to do more than her share of nursing care and always offers to help peers. Lenita uses her skills from working in rehab and encourages patients to do what they can for themselves. Lenita brings joy to her peers and patients. She has an awesome sense of humor. We are so very blessed to have her.
