There's a very special, compassionate nurse I think about very often. She has no idea how important she is to me and my family. If ever there was a nurse who I want to emulate Linda is the one. Linda has been there for me through all 4 of my pregnancies, the birth of my 3 wonderful boys and my sweet little girl, whom I lost all too soon. My oldest son is 12 and my youngest 8. Linda was there with all ensuring that I had her ear, her heart and her compassion. It's Linda's sweet, friendly face I saw when I came in that morning. I was in the process of losing my full-term daughter and it was Linda who made it possible for me to cope. Little does she know, she was the nurse who helped me cope for months to come. Her encouragement that morning was what I thought about time and time again. I know she thinks she was just doing what she does as a nurse to care for her patients, but she does more than that. I think about how she treated and cared for me often. I will never forget what she gave me: peace of mind, compassion, encouragement and her heart. I cannot thank you enough, Linda.
