During our 3 week stay we had the honor of getting to know many excellent nurses and aides; however, there is one RN who went way over and above! Kimberly learned that her patient's daughter was getting married and would not be able to leave the hospital for the event. Kimberly came in on her day off (insisted!) to coordinate FaceTime on a laptop with our relative at the wedding. She even made sure he was "dressed" for the big event in a shirt and boutonnière (over his lovely hospital gown.)
We will never forget her making it possible for Dad to share in his daughter's wedding. Not only is Kimberly an excellent RN but also is a person that is able to see the needs of the entire patient - not just the illness.
