My husband was admitted through the ED. While waiting for an available bed, he received excellent care in the ED. After being transferred to our room, the excellent care continued. The nursing care he received from nurse Desiree was by far the best care he has ever received as an inpatient.
Desiree made sure my husband had a clear understanding of everything that was being done. She was very compassionate and attentive to his needs. Desiree made sure we were updated on a regular basis of any and all changes and communications with his doctors.
Desiree is an asset to VMC. She is an awesome nurse, possesses superb skills and is also very personable. We have no doubt that anyone assigned to her will receive outstanding care. We can't say enough good regarding her skills and the care we received. Thank you, Desiree.
