Let me start off by saying my mom is really hard of hearing. She is also very anxious about being sick and being in the hospital. She is 87 and not ready to "take her walk" as she calls it. Jenny was so patient, kind and caring to my mom. She was truly a personal nurse to her. Mom gets frightened when she gets lightheaded, has pains in her chest, hears sounds in her head, feels weak and a dozen other symptoms. Jenny knew her chart every day she was my mom's nurse. She would give her a new medication and my mom would question it and Jenny knew what the medication was and why she was taking it. She explained so many things to my mom, sometimes more than once. She always kept us posted when she contacted the doctor for one of my mom's symptoms or if she thought something needed to be checked. She was there for my mom 110%. When my mom was sent home, Jenny gave her this great pep talk about what a strong woman she was and in good shape. My mom has great confidence in Jenny's advice. I know it was because she could feel that Jenny really cared about her well-being. I felt the same way. She is the kind of nurse that we all want if we have to go to the hospital. She for sure was our DAISY Nurse.
