Our Community Health Worker program just expanded to MLK clinic in July and Monica has made such an impact in helping make sure that this new program is a success. She has been amazing in ensuring that we get all of our patients' needs met in a timely manner. She always makes herself available for us to answer all of our questions, showing how passionate she is about her work. Since we are in the patients' homes we see the reality of what our patients are dealing with and when we go back to Monica to let her know of their situation she shows such empathy and goes over and beyond to solve any and all issues. She even goes as far as trying to prevent any future issues to make our system as easy as possible for the patient. She has been such a valuable contact and has shown such teamwork. She truly takes our mission statement to heart. She has helped us with countless issues such as getting patients next day appointments.
