...Patsy was my nurse for three nights and always took time to make me feel loved. It wasn't like I was just a patient. Even after her assignment was no longer to me, she would check in and give me encouragement through my pain. She even brought me a cross word puzzle to keep my mind on something other than being sick. I knew from the beginning she was a beautiful gift God sent to me and that she is not just a nurse. She is a true friend!

I was moved to a new floor later on, after I had surgery. Nurse Patsy came and found me to visit before she went into work one day shortly after my operation! She sat and talked with me like we were great friends. She even brought me a lovely gift of soft pajamas and a funny, uplifting card to help make me feel good after I go home and as I heal.

Nurse Patsy deserves more than just an award. She is now a true friend of mine and I will cherish her always. She goes above and beyond her duties. She is an angel. May the Lord bless her as she blesses those around her!
